Jared Coyle is an AI technologist, creative leader, garlic enthusiast and family man. He is Head of Business AI for SAP North America, responsible for helping leaders understand and adopt the latest in traditional and generative AI in their business processes. Jared has held leadership roles in global escalations, support, consulting and sales at SAP since 2013. Prior to SAP, he was a university professor and lead researcher in the field of Quantum Organic Optoelectronics.

Jared has been recognized as one of 15 rising star employees at SAP by Business Insider and was given SAP’s highest award, the Hasso Plattner award. He holds multiple patents in intelligent software debugging and organic interferometric thin films.

Lee Garber is a General Partner of NewSpring dedicated to the Firm's buyout strategy, NewSpring Holdings. Lee has nearly 20 years of operationally focused audit and principal investment experience including evaluating, managing, and assisting lower middle market businesses and helping to conceptualize, implement, and manage value creation initiatives at an operational level. 

​

Lee currently serves on the boards of directors for NewSpring Holdings Platform companies Wealthcare, QUODD, USPack, Magna5, and Bcore. Additionally, he is part of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia Investment Committee and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Corporate Council. Formerly, served on the board of Avantus Federal. He received a BSBA from the Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis with majors in Finance and Accounting and an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business.

Breakout Session: Unmasking Deception: Insights and Adventures from an FBI Agent's Global Pursuit 
 

Mr. Sobocinski is a Partner at TD International (TDI), guiding clients through complex global investigative, risk analysis, crisis management, and operational matters. Mr. Sobocinski recently concluded 25 years of service with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, where he held a number of senior posts, including Deputy Assistant Director of the FBI’s International Operations Division. In this role, Mr. Sobocinski was responsible for managing all personnel, operations, and analysis for the Bureau’s overseas mission.

​

During his career he served in multiple operational and leadership positions focused on national security and complex global investigations. Mr. Sobocinski led US’s efforts to increase collaboration within the intelligence community and our international partners. He provided regular testimony and briefings to Congress, universities and the media while serving as co-chairman on the US Attorney General’s Domestic Terrorism Advisory Committee.

​

Prior to his departure, Mr. Sobocinski served as the Special Agent in Charge of one of the FBI’s largest field offices, covering Maryland and Delaware, where he led a team focused on national security, criminal and cyber investigations. Mr. Sobocinski routinely provided enterprise risk mitigation guidance to C-suite executives across the critical infrastructure, defense, biotech and pharmaceutical, technology, and financial services industries.

​

Mr. Sobocinski additionally served in the FBI’s Legal Attaché Offices in London (UK), Cairo (Egypt), Tripoli (Libya) and Kabul (Afghanistan), and as the FBI’s senior liaison officer to the Department of Homeland Security.

Prior to the FBI, Mr. Sobocinski was a special agent with the U.S. Secret Service. He began his career as a police officer.

Mr. Sobocinski holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Criminology from Purdue University and a Master of Arts in Security Studies – Homeland Security and Defense - from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School.

Samir is the co-founder and CEO of Farsight AI, a generative AI company who's proprietary AI agents augment complex workflows across financial services and insurance.

Prior to founding Farsight AI, Samir was a private equity and growth equity investor at General Atlantic, focused on the technology sector. Samir’s main coverage and investment area was enterprise software, with a specific focus on robotic process automation, data infrastructure and AI/ML. Before joining General Atlantic, Samir was an investment banker in the M&A group at Evercore, where he focused predominantly on the consumer and technology sectors.

Samir holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from MIT.

Paul serves as the lead investment advisor and operating partner for Milestone Partners for their core platform investments in software, financial services, and tech-enabled solutions. In addition to investment thesis development, due diligence and deal execution, Paul’s value creation efforts focus on guiding portfolio executives to prioritize, align, and drive data-driven and capital efficient strategies for growth, market expansion, unit economics optimization, and rapid product and business model innovation and transformation.

Prior to Milestone, Paul had over three decades of investing and operating experience as a founder, CEO, acquisitions leader, and board member in companies across SaaS software, data analytics, AI, mobile and edge applications, and online marketing. His early career included leadership roles in business development at SAP and software development, product management, and sales at IBM.

​

Paul holds a BS in industrial engineering and operations research from Purdue University and an MBA in finance from the University of Chicago.

Lynn Wu is an associate professor at the Wharton School. She teaches MBA, undergraduate and PhD classes about the use and impact of emerging technologies on business.

​

Her research examines how emerging information technologies, such as artificial intelligence and analytics, affect innovation, business strategy, and productivity. Specifically, her work follows three streams. In the first stream, she examines how data analytics and artificial intelligence affect firm innovation, business strategy, labor outcomes, and productivity for both large firms and startups. In her second stream, she studies how enterprise social media and online platforms affect work performance, career trajectories, entrepreneurship success, and the formation of new type of biases that arise from using technologies. In her third stream of research, Lynn leverages fine-grained nanodata available through online digital traces to predict economic indicators such as real estate trends, labor trends and product adoption.

​

Lynn has published articles in economics, management and computer science. Her work has been widely covered by media outlets, including, NPR, the Wall Street Journal, Businessweek, New York Times, Forbes, and The Economist. She has won numerous awards such as Early Career awards from INFORMS and AIS, best paper awards from Information System Research, AIS, ICIS, HICSS, CHITA, and Kauffman. She has also won the Dean’s teaching award.

​

Lynn received her undergraduate degrees from MIT (Finance and Computer Science), her master’s degree from MIT (Computer Science) and her Ph.D. from MIT Sloan School of Management (Management Science). Lynn has experiences working with a variety of firms in the technology industry (e.g. IBM, SAP, Google, Facebook etc), government agencies and think tanks (e.g the World Bank, the Russel Sage Foundation). She has also consulted and advised several startups. Prior to academia, she was a software engineer and a research scientist at MIT AI lab and IBM.
